GARDEN HOPPING ON THE WESTERN ISLES OF SCOTLAND

29th MAY to 1st JUNE

This tour will explore seven gardens: Castle Brodick on the Isle of Arran, Achamore on the Isle of Gigha and Carradale House on Kintyre, Arduaine Garden in Oban, An Cala Gardens and Ardmaddy Castle on the Isle of Seil, and the Linn Botanic Gardens on the shores of Loch Long. These gardens represent some of the finest gardens in the British Isles.

This tour starts and ends in Glasgow, there will be a minibus pick up from Glasgow railway station and Glasgow airport before heading to Ardossan to start our island hopping. Late morning pick up at the railway station and after midday at the airport.

All for £295.00 inclusive of transport from Glasgow, guided tours where applicable, accommodation and breakfast. Excluded are garden entrance fees, lunches, evening meals, drinks, insurance and travel to tour departure point.

Accommodation: The party will be staying at three hotels, Ormidale Hotel on Arran, Regent Hotel in Oban and Bav Tarbert Hotel in Arrochar in twin en-suite rooms, all serving breakfast. Lunches and evening meals will be sourced either in the gardens or towns where the group will be staying.

Luggage and Clothing: Please ensure your luggage is limited to one soft bag for easy storage in the minibus and include in your packing, light wet weather gear, strong footwear and warm clothing including socks.

Bookings: To secure your place, send a signed deposit cheque of £100 to Women’s Farm and Garden Association, 175 Gloucester Street, Cirencester, Gloucestershire GL7 2DP, your booking will be confirmed by email or post, a guide will be sent containing travel information and details of the gardens to be visited in April.

Cancellation of Booking: All cancellations made by 1st May 2014 will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations after that date will not be eligible for any refund as fares and accommodation will have been confirmed. Please pay the outstanding balance of your fare by 10th May 2014. Please note: the WFGA accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage to goods, luggage or money.

HEREFORDSHIRE GARDEN WEEKEND

14th – 16th JUNE

This tour will experience seven gardens: Hampton Court Castle, Stockton Bury, Bryans Ground, Westonbury Mill Water Gardens - see the UK's only water powered cuckoo clock!, Rhodds Farm, Brobury House and Abbey Dore. Also included is a visit to the Herbfarmacy - where they grow their plants organically, process and make all lotions and potions on site. Minibus transport will be provided with pick up from Hereford Railway station midday Saturday. Parking available at accommodation.

All for £135.00 per person, inclusive of transport, accommodation and breakfast. Not included - garden fees, lunches, evening meals, drinks, insurance and travel to tour departure point.

Accommodation: The party will be staying in Hereford in twin bed rooms, with tea & coffee making facilities. Evening meals - large choice in Hereford centre - easy walking distance, and country pub.

Luggage and Clothing: Please ensure your luggage is limited to one soft bag for easy storage in the minibus and include in your packing light wet weather gear and strong footwear.
