Bristol – Organic Blooms Visit

13 spaces remaining

Organic Blooms is an organic cut flower farm and social enterprise near Bristol.  They are one of the very first Soil Association certified organic flower growers in the UK – an achievement that they are incredibly proud of.

Growing cut flowers is therapeutic.  At Organic Blooms they use all the wonders of working with nature to benefit local people with disabilities and support needs. They have adapted their working nursery and employ specialist staff to support people to gain valuable skills and the confidence to get into work.

Organic Blooms has evolved from twenty years of running Horticulture Projects using plants as a therapeutic medium for people with learning difficulties and mental health support needs.

This visit offers you the opportunity to see Organic Blooms at work with a tour of the nursery, a demonstration of how to make a hand tied bouquet and an opportunity to buy plants.  We will finish the day with tea and cake which is included in the cost.

The cost is £15 per person.  Please bring weather appropriate clothing.
