About the Venue:
Trewithen means ‘house of trees’ and is a historical estate with 30 acres of woodland and over 200 acres of parkland. From champion trees, to magnolias and a collection of over 200 varieties of Camellia’s it is a truly remarkable garden.
About the Tutor:
Gary Long is Head of Gardens and Parks at Trewithen Gardens. Gary has been Head Gardener at Trewithen over 20 years and is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable plantsman
About the Practical Skills Day:
A practical skills day! Learn to prune Hydrangeas with an expert within a beautiful garden. Head Gardener Gary will guide you through the techniques of correct pruning, then allow you to have a go.

Refreshments are not provided – please bring your own including a packed lunch.

Please bring your own secateurs if you have them and wear boots, gloves, and waterproof clothing.
