Calmsden is a privately-owned Cotswold estate with 3-4 acres of lovely gardens. Formal areas and terraces surround the house with borders designed by Mary Keen, leading down to a sloping woodland area, wildflower banks and newly-planted Arboretum.  Large stone-walled Kitchen Garden and Orchard.

Andy Nelson, is the Head Gardener and trained with Mary Keen and her HG for several years before coming to Calmsden.  Andy will talk about Bluebell woodlands and how to encourage naturalization.  We will plant the bulbs in the marked-out areas.  The day will finish with a tour of the garden.

Please bring your own packed lunch and drink.  Tea/coffee and cake will be provided.  Please bring suitable footwear and weather appropriate clothing. Bring trowel, gloves, and knee pads if required.

The cost of this PSD is £30.
