Hampshire – Weirs Barn Garden Visit 20/6/26

Price range: £20.00 through £25.00

Description

About the Garden:
Weirs Barn is a Grade II listed barn surrounded by a Robert Schultz designed Arts & Crafts garden. The 2.5 acre garden divided into garden rooms includes topiary peacocks, a sunken garden, croquet lawn, an ancient mulberry, hooped border and a nuttery. Lovingly restored by the current owners the garden remains true to the original design with planting in the spirit of Gertrude Jekyll.

This is a delight and ‘must-see’ for any fans of the Arts & Crafts garden.

About the Garden Owner:
You will join very experienced garden owner Terence Lyons for an initial 10 minute history of the garden before exploring this unique Arts & Crafts garden on a self-guided tour. Terence will be on hand for any questions that you might have, and tea, coffee and cake are included in the ticket price.

There is an excellent pub restaurant directly opposite Weirs Barn should you wish to have lunch after your tour of the gardens.

£10 from every ticket sold goes to St Michael’s Hospice, Basingstoke.
