Description
About the Venue:
Hever Castle is the childhood home of Anne Boleyn – a moated castle set in 30 acres of formal and natural landscape with topiary, herb garden, Italian gardens, lake, and a walled garden with more than 300 roses.
About the Practical Skills Day:
Arrive for a 10 am start to prune the many fruit trees in the historical gardens at Hever Castle. Attendees will be guided in the correct technique to prepare the trees for a bumper crop of fruit in the following year.

You will be required to climb a ladder.
Timings:
Arrive: 9.30am – 10.00am
Start: 10.00am
Ends: around 3.00pm

Refreshments:
The cafe will be closed so please bring a packed lunch, and any drinks that you will need.

Please bring sharp secateurs, suitable/weather appropriate footwear and clothing (plus lunch and drinks as above).

- Standard Cancellation Policy (copy available here): A 50% refund is applicable for event ticket cancellations up to and including 15 days before an event. If you cancel your attendance on an event within 14 days, no refund will be given.
