Description
Hever Castle is famously the childhood home of Anne Boleyn and is a moated castle set in 30 acres of formal and natural landscape. The gardens include topiary, herb garden, Italian gardens, lake and a walled garden with more than 3000 roses.
Members will be working with Head Gardener Neil Miller and his team and other horticultural enthusiasts to undertake the work. Attendees will be guided in the correct technique to prepare the tree for a bumper crop of fruit in the following year.
Please note you will be required to climb a ladder during this PSD.
You are welcome to arrive from 09:30 ready to start at 10am, the meeting point to be decided nearer the time. Please bring your own packed lunch and drink as the cafe will be closed. Please bring sharp secateurs, suitable footwear and clothing for the weather.
The cost of this PSD is £30.
