Hever Castle is famously the childhood home of Anne Boleyn and is a moated castle set in 30 acres of formal and natural landscape. The gardens include topiary, herb garden, Italian gardens, lake and a walled garden with more than 3000 roses.
The aim of the day is a major redevelopment of the long herbaceous borders at Hever Castle. Plants will be dug up, divided, thinned out and repositioned. Attendees will have the opportunity to take some of the plants home after the clumps have been thinned out.
You are welcome to arrive from 09:30 ready to start at 10am. Please meet at the Moat Restaurant.
Lunch can be purchased in the cafe. Alternatively please bring a packed lunch.
You will need to bring secateurs, suitable footwear, hand sanitiser and weather appropriate clothing.
