Description

Hever Castle is famously the childhood home of Anne Boleyn and is a moated castle set in 30 acres of formal and natural landscape. The gardens include topiary, herb garden, Italian gardens, lake and a walled garden with more than 3000 roses.

It is in the rose garden that members will be working with Head Gardener Neil Miller and his team and other horticultural enthusiasts to undertake the work.  Attendees will be guided in the correct technique to prepare the roses for a summer of flowering.

Arrive for 09:30 to meet at the Moat Restaurant.  Lunch can be purchased in the café.  A special deal on soup and a roll will be on offer and discounted prices on other hot meals, otherwise please bring your own packed lunch and drink.  Please bring sharp secateurs, suitable footwear and clothing.

The cost of this PSD is £30.
