Description

About the Venue:
Hever Castle is the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. It is a moated castle set in 30 acres of formal and natural landscape. It features Topiary, a herb garden, Italian gardens, lake and a walled garden with more than 300 roses.

About the Practical Skills Day:
The aim of the day is to instruct attendees on how to prune roses to achieve a summer of flowering. The event will be taught by members of the Hever Castle gardening team.

Timings:
Starts: 9.30am – 10.00am for tea and coffee
Ends: 3.00pm

NB: Times may vary slightly according to numbers, weather and task

Please Bring:
Sharp secateurs, gloves, suitable footwear, weather appropriate clothing (including waterproofs).

Refreshments:
Tea and coffee will be provided, and the Café will be open, but please feel free to bring your own packed lunch.

£40 Members

Tickets:
Your event tickets will be emailed to the email address used when you book your place, and a copy can be found in the Tickets section of your website account.

Important Terms:
Cancellations received 15 days or more out from the event date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event date do not qualify for a refund.
