Doddington Place Gardens is divided into four main areas. A large woodland garden, with a collection of rhododendrons and azaleas; an Edwardian rock garden with pools; a sunken garden with herbaceous borders and finally a flint and brick folly at the end of a long grass walk. The garden also features immense yews that have been topiarized into giant mounds that have the appearance of cumulus clouds.
Arrive for any time from 10 am for 10:30 am start. The day will involve the digging up Dahlias, planting up bulbs, cutting back of borders, and mulching. There will also be an opportunity to explore the gardens and see the giant topiarized yew hedges.
Please bring your own packed lunch and drink. Please bring suitable footwear and clothing. Bring secateurs.
