Historically significant, Whalton Manor is a 17th century house and its three-acre garden is bursting with inspirational planting and magnificent architectural structures, such as the charming Lutyens-designed, Italianate summerhouse, game larder, pergolas and vast stone-paved courtyard.
In this workshop you will be guided by Plantsman Guy Young. Guy will give you an introduction to taking cuttings and give you the opportunity to practice using plants from the gardens and the nursery. You will also have a guided walk around the garden, with Head Gardener Susanna Kemp, which is only open by appointment. All cuttings taken on the day are yours to take home so enjoy this opportunity to gather exciting samples.
The cost of this workshop is £35 for WFGA members and £45 for non-members. Morning tea, coffee and cake will be provided, please bring a packed lunch.
