Description
Have you ever wanted to know how to go about designing your own garden? Are you already a gardener who is considering offering design services as part of your business, but not sure what it involves?
This introductory zoom seminar will outline the process of garden design, describe how to measure and analyse your site, how to produce a simple survey plan, and advise how to develop your design ideas and sketch out your first garden design. All attendees will receive a PDF version of the presentation with some additional handouts and there will be time for questions and discussion at the end of the zoom session.
Jo spent many years working in architectural design, both on the drawing board and in computer-aided design, before ‘escaping’ the drawing office to work in the great outdoors. After qualifying in garden design, floristry and RHS horticulture, she completed her WRAGS placement at Kelmarsh Hall in 2016 and started her own successful gardening business.
The cost for this online workshop, is £35 per WFGA member, £45 non WFGA members.
