Description
About the Talk:
What is planting design? Would you like to know how to design a planting plan for your own garden?
This introductory Zoom Talk will outline the basic design principles to bear in mind when designing a planting scheme, the practical necessities to be considered, the obvious and not so obvious qualities of plants, planting styles, seasonality, and advice on how to create your very own planting plan.
All attendees will receive a PDF version of the presentation with some additional handouts, and there will be time for questions and discussion at the end of the Zoom session.
About the Tutor:
Jo Moore spent many years working in architectural design, both on the drawing board and in computer-aided design, before ‘escaping’ the drawing office to work in the great outdoors. After qualifying in garden design, floristry and RHS horticulture, she completed her WRAGS placement at Kelmarsh Hall in 2016 and started her own successful gardening business.
