Description

Sarsden Glebe is a Georgian rectory with gardens and park originally laid out by George Repton. Formal gardens around the house drop away in a series of terraces to a wild garden with roses and a central crab apple avenue. It also features a walled kitchen garden and long herbaceous borders.

In this PSD we are delighted to be offered the skills of Jay Davey as tutor.  He is based on the Somerset Levels and his projects include climber structures, hurdles, screens, seats, arbours and art-based pieces, as well as living willow.  Jay will teach you how to create willow supports for large roses in the Wild Garden at Sarsden Glebe and hopefully also make small willow cloches to protect vegetables, depending on time.

You are welcome to arrive from 09:30 and will be greeted with tea/coffee/biscuits.  Please bring your own packed lunch and hot drink.  Please bring sharp secateurs, suitable footwear and clothing.  Please bring hand sanitiser and a mask.

The cost of this PSD is £40.
