Scotland – Tree Identification Day – Booking suspended subject to government advice – Please check for regular updates

A Tree Identification Day lead by Dr Morna Knottenbelt will include a lecture on tree identification to include garden trees, native woodland trees & trees of Designed Landscapes which include exotic trees from all over the world. The walled garden, acquired in 2013, has been planted with extensive herbaceous borders with roses, shrubs and unusual plants. After lunch, there will be a tour of the Designed Landscape of Carbeth which surrounds the walled garden.

Morna retired from work as a veterinary surgeon in the Wirral & moved home to Scotland in 2012. She has been an active tree enthusiast for many years & held a very successful Tree ID Day for volunteers from Scotland’s Garden & Landscape Heritage.

The cost is £40 for members and £45 for non-members.  Tea coffee and biscuits will be provided.  Please bring weather appropriate clothing.
