Dunsborough Park is a stunning country estate situated in Ripley, just thirty minutes outside London. A beautiful home set amongst 100 acres of landscaped gardens. The gardens extend over six acres and were designed by Penelope Hobhouse and Rupert Golby. It includes a a box parterre which is a showcase for tulips and Dahlias, fruit trees, water garden with folly bridge and large herbaceous borders.
Arrive for a 10 am to start pruning the many fruit trees in the historical gardens at Dunsborough Park, with a group of other horticultural students. Attendees will be guided in the correct technique to prepare the trees for a year of fruiting. Trees include apple, figs, quince and crab apples.
You are welcome to arrive from 09:30. Please bring your own packed lunch and hot drink. Please bring sharp secateurs, suitable footwear and clothing. Please bring hand sanitiser and a mask.
