Description

About the Venue:
Birtsmorton Court is a 15th century moated manor house surrounded by beautiful gardens at the foot of the Malvern Hills.

About the Tutor:
Tutor Mike Gogerty  Trained at Pershore College and Birtsmorton, leaving to work for Adam Frost at his gardening school in Lincolnshire.  He then returned to Birtmorten as Head Gardener about 5 years ago.

About the Practical Skills Day:
We will look  at the various roses around the garden, discussing the different types and ways of pruning.  Mike will demonstrate, and we will prune some of the roses together.

There will also be an opportunity to look around the 10 acres of gardens.

Timings:
10.00am – 3.30pm

Refreshments:
Tea, coffee and cake are provided. Please bring a packed lunch.

Please Bring:
Please bring sharp secateurs, gloves, and weather appropriate clothing and footwear, including waterproofs.
Please also bring a packed lunch.

Members £40
