Beingbrough Hall is an Italian inspired hall, surrounded by 8 acres of constantly evolving formal gardens including a two acre walled kitchen garden boasting over 50 varieties of fruit trees.
The National Trust Team will work with attendees to take you through the theory of pruning, different styles within the garden and then practical pruning sessions to ensure that the trees are all ready for the next season.
The cost of this practical skills day is £30. Please bring a packed lunch and drink. Tea/coffee will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own secateurs and loppers, but you must be prepared to sharpen and sanitize them thoroughly in the introductory session. Alternatively, secateurs and all tools will be provided by NT Beningbrough. Please bring suitable footwear, gloves and weather appropriate clothing.
