Two Regional Managers
wanted for our
Work & Retrain as a Gardener Scheme (WRAGS)

We are looking for two Regional Managers to join our busy team.  One to cover the county of Devon and one to cover the North East counties (Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, County Durham).

This is a self-employed part-time role and an opportunity to work and develop our renowned Work and Retrain as a Gardener scheme which has been running for the past 27 years.
Full details of the Scheme are on our website www.wfga.org.uk.

Ideally, candidates should be someone with a passion for gardens, horticulture and supporting people through their horticultural training towards a new and rewarding career. The role would suit someone who ideally has already passed through our WRAGS training scheme and who is based in the region they are applying for.

As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for representing the WFGA, sourcing and supporting suitable gardens across the region for our training scheme. You will match trainees on our waiting list with those gardens, maintain strong relationships with current and future garden owners, and support existing and future trainees. There will be mentoring and support from our existing team.

Confident, enthusiastic and flexible, self-sufficient, able to network and build relationships with people, are some of the key attributes we feel are necessary for this role.

Applicants must live in the regions advertised, either Devon or the North East as mentioned above.  A good knowledge of the region is essential together with your own car for travel.
