Hodsock Priory Members Visit

Local members met at  Hodsock Priory last week  is a charming garden which opens to the public for snowdrop and bluebell days plus other events in the year – and is well worth a visit if you are in the area when it is open. The get-together let everyone talk about why they joined WFGA and the diverse skills they could all bring to a new career whilst training in horticulture – and benefit from each others encouragement. The WRAGS Co-ordinator for Yorkshire was also there  to meet up with WRAGS trainees and prospective trainees.

The group made full use of their time making notes of plants of interest to them and went away with a short list of names to look up and find more information on. As Mary reported ‘we had education, good company and sunshine whilst we enjoyed the early spring bulbs and shrubs in a lovely setting’.
